Champagne Laurent-Perrier will once again be the official champagne at Taste of London 2014, and will be offering visitors a brand new version of its exclusive masterclass; ‘The Champagne Laurent-Perrier Masterclass’.
Hosted by David Hesketh, Master of Wine and MD of Laurent-Perrier UK, and Wine Tipster and champagne Expert Neil Phillips on the Friday and Saturday evenings, guests will enjoy a unique experience learning how to ‘blind taste’ a range of Laurent-Perrier champagnes.

The tasting will focus on the sensory experience of the champagne on the nose and palate, with all the champagnes matched to foods that complement their individual styles.
Following a glass of Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé on arrival, guests will be guided through the key characteristics of three distinct champagnes, including Laurent-Perrier Ultra Brut, Laurent-Perrier Brut and Grand Siècle by Laurent-Perrier.
The Masterclass Menu will include:
- Quail with molasses
- Cornish crab salad with cucumber foam and pea shoots
- Poulet de Bresse and tarragon terrine with white truffle dressing
- Red mullet fillet with fennel
